A little reading. A little inspiration. A reason to go out and photograph.
SideNotes offers light readings, ideas and observations to help you understand photography and discover different ways of seeing.
It serves three simple purposes:
-
Understanding — Helps you understand how photographic elements work and why they matter.
-
Observation — Encourages you to notice things you normally overlook in everyday life.
-
Inspiration — Gives you fresh ideas and reasons to go out, observe and make photographs.
Read what interests you, whenever you have time.
Sometimes, one small idea is enough to make an ordinary subject worth looking at again.
Make your photography more meaningful, interesting and enjoyable.
