Photography doesn't grow from a single lesson. 

It grows as ideas return in different forms, at different times, and from different perspectives.

Each cycle offers another way of seeing the same idea.  A webinar introduces an idea.  The newsletter explores it more deeply.  Members photograph, discuss, reflect, and share what they discover.

Over time, these experiences become part of Curation • 阅.

An idea that didn't make sense six months ago may become exactly what you need today. 

Every newsletter, lesson, webinar, photo review, artist feature, and community contribution becomes another perspective on the same idea.

There is no need to start at the beginning.

Simply begin with the idea that interests you today.

There is no rush.

Growth and Curation complement one another, but they serve different purposes. 

Growth • 修 gives you a path.

You choose a workshop, course, or guided programme and follow a structured journey towards a particular learning goal.

Curation • 阅 gives you a landscape.

Instead of following one path, you explore one idea through many different perspectives.

Growth helps you go deeper.

Curation helps you see wider.

One develops depth.

The other develops perspective.

Over time, one idea opens into many ways of seeing.

Return with an idea you're already exploring. 

Perhaps you've spent the week noticing Light. Or found yourself thinking about Shadow. Or become curious about Repetition.

Come to this page. There is no correct order. You don't need to read everything.

Follow your curiosity. Some ideas will immediately make sense. Others may not.

Return to them another day.

Photography is a lifelong practice.

Curation exists to help you calibrate your seeing, not replace it.

Compare your own experience with other ways of seeing, and perhaps notice something you hadn't noticed before.

There is no right answer waiting here.
